I think it is important to take time to enjoy the everyday; the sound of rain on the windows, the flowers in the garden, and to contemplate The Big Things over a cup of tea. There is glory in the ordinary around us.

And then it is important to make beautiful things. Because those who can, should always do their best to make this world more beautiful.

My illustrations are my way of telling stories, or of helping others to tell their stories. In video, in frames, in storybooks, on screens or in print, my aim is to always be personal, authentic and trustworthy in the way my creations speak to the world.
